Since we are converting over to SW from ProE I’m thinking of keeping some mapkey or keyboard shortcuts that I’ve used with ProE for years. Such as Repaint, Refit Screen, Default Isometric View using the keyboards numbers and function keys. Is this doable? Any of you who’ve converted over from ProE to SW have any advice? Any tips for making the transition easier?

Thanks!

You can define keys to do the functions that you list but they're nothing like MapKeys

Art,
Yes, go to Tools, Customize, keyboard, in the Categories dialog box you will find almost all commands. Pick your command and set the keys to fit.
For more information search for “Customize Keyboard” in the SolidWorks help.

If you can't pull it from the pull-downs then you can't set it up as a keyboard shortcut. To get around that you will have to use a macro.

All of these have shortcut keys by default in SW.

"F" for fit to screen
"Ctrl + 7" for Isometric
"Ctrl + R" for redraw

All can be changed as well
