We are designing the facilities to house and run a large wood kiln. We know enough information to calculate the amount of water that will be removed from the wood. Also, water will be introduced in the kiln to maintain proper humidity. My question is: how much water will drain out of the kiln?
Is there a calculation, rule-of-thumb, etc? Can we expect ???% of the total water (from the wood and the incoming water) to leave as condensed water and the rest as vapor?
Thanks for your help.
