Kineamtics swept volume curve

hi friends,

I am trying to get the path of the sweep of the part i.e the curve that is traced by it when it revolves. In the case of a swept volume i get a cgr file and am unable to get the path as an arc or an ellipse out of it. How do i get it Thanks in Advance.

get a trace of a point, this will give you a line/curve built on the points as result.

you can also export your swept volume as V4, this should give you some give of geometry similar to CGR but easier to build curve from.
