Hello,
Please, how do I get the kinetic energy of the impact bullet from Abaqus? I saw total kinetic energy, but I need just for the bullet. How do I get it?
Thank you so much.

You can create a history output request for a set of elements and choose ALLKE.

Thank you so much. How do I create it for the set of element?

You need to define a proper elset first and then, in the history output request window, change the Domain from Whole model to Set and select the previously defined elset.

Hello,
Where do I create the set? Under the section "part"? Do I need to combine the jacket and the core to make a set? I do not understand it.
Please help.
Thank you.

To create a set, expand the Assembly container and double-click on Sets (or right-click and choose Create). Then select the geometry or elements that you want to include in the set (display groups can help you hide parts and regions that are not needed for the set). You can select multiple parts at once. Just keep in mind that when creating a geometry set, you should change the selection filter (drop-down list next to a button with a cursor symbol) to Cells so that you select volumes, not only faces.

It has finally worked! Thanks a bunch!!
