L10 & L90 Sound pressure levels

I have a Bruel & Kjaer sound level meter. However it is an older type. It gives the output of SEL, Leq, Max SPL, Min SPL.

Does anyone know how to calculate a L10 or L90 from this information????
IE. The sound pressure level exceeded 10/90% of the time...

You can't, unless you have performed a lot of analysis to back up your model. If all else fails, take the AC output and stick it into a PC. Then process the results yourself.

The L10 and L90 are precentile values based on the statisical distribution of A-weighted sound levels measured over a period of time, say 15 minutes or 1 hour. Depending on the sound source, say community noise, the Leq is close to the L10 and the Lmin is close to the L90 within a few decibels. That's about all you can do with the numbers you have.
