Labview 8 Serial Comm Problem

Hi,

I am using Labview 8 on Win XP, and I am trying to communicate with a TopCCC 9018p I/O module. It is using usb and I have mapped it to com port 3. The module responds fine in Windows using a simple communication program I created in Borland Delphi. It also responds fine in the test progra downloaded from the module vendor. I just cannot get anything to/from it using Visa in Labview 8. Can anyone help me?
