just wondering what methods are open to us to lap a 10" Rockwell Hypre-seal plug valve.

Is the extremely labour intensive option of doing it by hand still the recognised way forward, or are we using machines these days?

I'd love to knock something up myself to do the job, something that would allow me to walk away and leaving it to do itself almost.

Any ideas fella's

I'm sure you've checked with Flowserve and their Nordstrom heritage brand for this; haven't they come up with any clues? As for mechanics, depending on the age and current condition of the valve, you might only be able to lap it successfully if you do this manually.... =(

My focus: Alloy Valves in duplex, super duplex, alloy 20, monel, inconel, incoloy, hastelloy, titanium, 904L, zirconium and uranus Valve Stockist Valvulas
