Laptop battery won't charge

Hi,
I recently purchased a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 1875 notebook. Everything worked fine at the start, until the battery stopped taking a charge. The sytem information stated that all was fine, that the battery was charging (although in certainly wasn't). I got onto the vendors who sent me out a new, tested and fully carged battery which again worked fine until the charge ran out and then once again would not charge, although displayed the message that it was charging.(by the way the battery indicator Led light still flashes as if it is charging). I have searched the system Help files and Troubleshooting but could find no specific info.
Can anyone help me, please

Then you probably have a hardware problem that requires repair by the manufacturer

lptop battery won't discharge! The sytem information stated that all is fine. But after AC adator unplugging Laptop is swithced off immediatelly. My laptop is Gateway Solo 3350.
Can anyone help me, please,thanks
