Hi, Im looking for any information or experiance from anyone regarding a good laptop for running Solidworks 2010 64 bit catiaV5,
Will require it to build large assemblies and run cosmos...
Iv looked at their website and see that the dell m6500 seems to be the benchmark but a friend of mine who works on pc's tellS me the 3000 euro price tag that comes with it is ridiculous for what you get, he's currently sourcing what he thinks will do the job but im just wondering if any fellow engineers have got any experiance with this subject...

Thanks

Whatever you do, make sure your friend specs out a computer with the correct hardware, meaning hardware which is supported by/for SolidWorks.
Personally, I have a Dell M4200 that runs SolidWorks just fine. I've had it for two years with no complaints.
