Hi to everyone,
I'm working on a Stainless Steel piping specification and I have to increase the maximum diameter from 24" to 28".
The problem is that when I go the ASME B16.19, diameters 26" and 28" do not appear. I've been told there is a note that specifies that diameters that are not present in ASME B16.19 are covered by ASME B16.10 in one of those regulations. I haven't find anything about that so in my spec I will define diam 30" instead of 26" or 28".
- Are Stainless Steel 26" and 28" pipes covered by any regulation or just by "manufacturer Std"?
- What happens if you need a larger size than 30" in Stainles steel? This is the largest size defined in ASME B16.19
Many thanks,
