Laser resistant material

Hello,

I need a material that could be resistant against a 3000nm Erbium laser or a CO2 laser.
I would like to use that material as a thin film stencil on a curved surface, and to cut everything outside it.

If you have ideas of materials or methods to do that, please let me know.

So you would suggest to produce a thin gold paper like stencil, and to then apply the laser?

I would be extremely careful of using highly reflective materials. The reflected laser may have as much power as the original beam, except it's now going away from the work surface towards ???

It's often better to cut the stencil while flat and apply to curved surface AFTER it's cut... no need to worry about cutting what's below the stencil.

If you have to cut a curved surface why not someone with a 3d laser like the Amada Thata?
