Anyone who had used COM624P software, knows that at some point the user needs to define the boundary condition code (KBC).
For a case that I'm working on right now, what do you think will be the best appropriate KBC condition?
A micropile installed on the crest of a slope for the stabilization of an existing concrete slab. The concrete slab is used as a parking lot, and currently is deflecting due to erosion underneath the foundation. The purpose of the micropile is to hold the concrete slab, a concrete bean will be used as the connection between the slab and the pile head, but there will be at least 5 to 6 feet of the length of the pile that will be off the ground. Length of penetration estimated so far is 40 ft deep.
