I am using Solidworks 2009 and have a quick question about layers.
I know how to assign dimensions to a given layer, but was wondering if it is possible to assign the dimension value to one layer and the dimension extension lines to another.
I would also like to do the same thing with section views, i.e. assign the letters (A-A, B-B etc) to one layer and the section lines themselves to another.
Similarly, is it possible to assign the border of a table to one layer and the text itself to another?
Finally, is it possible to assign the text in a geometric tolerance to one layer whilst assigning the box and dimension lines to another.
Hope this makes sense. Any help much appreciated!
