Layout Hyperlink to latest drawing version file

Hi everyone!! [ first time here ]

Im trying to set a hyperlink on a layout that opens the latest file of a certain drawing.
Ex.: C:/folder/folder/file.drw.250

But if i need to change the drawing for some reason, the version of the drawing gets to drw.251, witch means that the link that i´ve set before does not work anymore...

Any help on how to open the latest file version with an layout hyperlink?

Leave off the file version number. Link file.drw to your layout and let Pro/E resolve the version.

Thanks for that tip.
Actually i had already tryied that but i just forgot to put the last dot on the file name. see below.
WRONG - c:\...\file_name.drw
WORKING - c:\...\file_name.drw.

Can you imagine how stupid i felt?!

That little dot at the end is a major diference...

Well, this doesn´t work afterall..

i´ve tried to put it this way:

c:\....\file_x.drw
c:\....\file_x.drw.
c:\....\file_x.drw.***

neither of these are working.
is there a variable on config pro that can influence hyperlinks?
