LDX 2101 PICKLING PASSIVATING NEED 3

We are installing 35m diameter Clarifiers (CCD) which would handle a Sulphuric acid copper ore Leach solution of PH roughly 1.5. The floor plates would be covered by a layer of sludge, the wall mainly expaosed to a varying density slurry.
Do we need to pickle and passivate the LDX 2101 floor and wall welds?

If you want them to have optimal corrosion resistance, YES.

Ed is right, but more obviously, why would you not treat the welds to bring them up to the base metal? If this weren't necessary, you spent too much on the base metal.
