lead smelting

hi guys,
we use a rotary furnace to smelting and purification lead metal but it has very low efficiency. please guide me which the effective factors to improve the efficiency.

But how clean is it?
What is your heat transfer efficiency?
Why do think that efficiency is "low" - compared to what other processes, and how did you measure those processes?
How do you measure your own process - equally important!
Lead is notorious for the health effects of breathing the vapors, so a trap and vent system is essential = heat loss. So, What are you doing to trap the hot vapors, filter or recycle to heated gases and fumes around the furnace?

Lead melting has special needs as the fumes are very injurious to health. Not many try processing lead in their facilities. Recently an Oil& Gas related industry requested counterweights in lead, I offered them in castiron instead.

the scope of efficiency is production efficiency of lead, not heat efficiency. thanks for your Honestly worries, but the pollution and injurious effects is not my subject. I like to use your knowledge in smelting and purification lead process.
