Leaking O2 Regulator

Our oxygen regulator has gas coming out of a hole in the side of it. See attached image for the hole.
Has anyone seen this same problem?

Not sure what caused this or if this is normal.

This is not normal. It's also a bit dangerous depending on flow rate and what is around it. Had that been acetylene it would be very dangerous and also not normal.

One valve is designated O2 the other N2.
You'll be better off contacting the supplier detail specs.
What pressure are the twovalves exposed to downstream?

I ended up replacing the regulator, but the same problem occurred again with the new regulator...

I think the hole that is leaking is called a weep hole. I think they leak when the diaphragm of the regulator has a crack in it.

The system is a 2500 psi oxygen tank -> independent regulator @ 210 psi -> laser regulator @ 150 psi.

Any thoughts on why this is happening or troubleshooting ideas are greatly appreciated!

Bad batch of regulators? Contact the supplier or the manufacturer.

Also, be sure it is a leak.

I have gotten them secondhand from our local tech. They are perfectly fine for about a month and then leak.

Can guarantee this is a sizable leak, unfortunately.
