Does anyone know of a site where i can practice on good scheduling softwares free of charge.I found a few online but they are very basic.

Try browsing through sourceforge. It is all open source software and you might find something matching your needs or at least close. We use Microsoft Project so I have not personally looked closely at open source options.

I took a class in scheduling at the local community college. They used SureTrak. we were able to get a student copy for (US) $50.00.

The best way to test something is to squeeze it, slowly, until it breaks!
