Hello everyone,

I have been studying to take the LEED 2.1 exam and I am taking it on this Thursday April 28th, I was hoping I could get some feedback from people who have taken the exam. I have been studying the 2.1 Reference guides, Letter Templates, and associated codes and standards. I am still feeling nervous. Can anyone offer advice for taking the test, or insight on what to study, or how hard the exam was? I will appreciate any feedback. Look for my post on Friday about how I did. I was surprised to see little to no discussion on this site about the LEEDs process in general, why is that?

Thanks,

I've taken, and passed, the LEED exam. My advice is to take it easy and use good test taking techniques. It is a four choice, multiple-choice exam - so even if your mind blanks the answers usually provide clues.

My comment would be that there was a fair bit more on the process of applying for the program than I thought. I would recommend spending a hour or so at the US Green Buildings Website as well to pick up information that may be included on the test.

As far as discussion on LEED I think many people are still waiting to see if the program can add value to the service and products they provide. There are a large number of 'Green' discussion groups out there as well, and this forum seems to focus more on day-to-day problems.

Read the question carefully. The General Topic questions are tricky. Either it looks like all the answeres are correct or that they are all wrong.
