LEED EQ 3.2 Building Flush

We were 10 days into a 14 day flush prior to occupancy.
I discovered the breakers to the outdoor air source had been inadvertently turned off for an inspection of the fire alarm relay and not turned back on. Breakers were off for 3 days before anyone noticed.
Is the flush requirement continuous?
If so can we now change to flush before occupancy?

LEED lightened the requirement to 14,000 ft3 of total outdoor air per ft2 of building space. If you supply 3,000 ft3 of OA per ft2 before occupancy and the remainder after occupancy you should be okay. Neither period however should have painting, patching, punch-listing, and any major changes in progress.

You should be able to document that the overall space has maintained greater than 60°F and less than 60 %RH while the necessary OA was delivered. It's easy to achieve this if heating is available and space temperatures are set very high (override space set points to 78°F for example).
 
I believe the flow does not have to be continuous. Redo the math based upon time with MAU on then turn it on and calculate new end date with MAU on. Unless you new end date is into occupancy, you should be good.
 
Yes you have to continue until 14 days of continuous or scheduled flush is done prior to occupancy. Else CXA will not credit allocated LEED points for discontinuity. Idea of flushing is to ensure that "VOCs" due to materials and finishes does not exist during or after occupancy.

As per the work programme you still can continue during the occupancy period as stated by chasebean1 under his discussion.

Have you had a Indoor quality management during constrction phase?

We have continued the flush...overlap with occupancy.
And we did have a IAQ plan during construction which included photos of the various dust control measures.
All is documented and included on a trend from BAS.
