I need to create left and right handed parts in NX 6. Like this: Except that in my case some of the features in the right hand part will not be mirrored or will be different in the left hand part. So I was thinking of doing an extracted body in the right hand part at the point in the part navigator where all the features are the same in the two parts above that point in the tree. Then waving that body into the LH part, mirroring it and proceeding to develop the features in the LH part that are different. Is there a better approach?

Not that I can think of. If you follow the procedure I outlined in the thread you referenced, you should be good to go.

Why not just do a mirrored WAVE link at time stamp? That means you will not have to extract the body?
