legacy sheetmetal features in NX 7.5

I have many sheetmetal models that were created with NX 5 and older. When we upgraded to NX 7.5 (.2.5) most sheetmetal features will not respond to changed parameters nor can I add new flange features. I know the SM tab feature replaced blocks and pads for SM but it seems that we should be able to at least modify existing fetures. Does anyone else see this problem? Do you have any idea of how to work around other than the obvious (recreate).
