Level switch

I am trying to locate a cost effective bulk solid level measuring device (level switch).

I have just completed a small automation project on a milling system for Limestone and need a status indication from a level measuring device. Some sort of dry contact that I can carry to a PLC or simply to a pilot light for status indication.

There are many products out there, but I am interested in the feedback that you may have.......
