Does anyone make light-gauge 316 SS studs for walls?

I was hoping to use them for a lightweight shaft wall at an existing indoor pool for a college.

I hope not. Weak, expensive, and not resistant to attack in pool enclosures.
Call Catherine Houska at TMR, 412-369-0377. They are a consulting firm and she specializes in architectural applications of stainless. She will know what is available.
Maybe someone has started doing this work in a lean duplex grade.

SteveGregory,

Cooper B-Line has uni-strut available in steel, aluminum, 304SS, and 316SS. Only the steel product has a size with a 3-1/4" channel, but a pair of the 1-5/8" stainless steel channels might be fitted back to back. The 316SS struts would be in 12 ga or 14 ga. Maybe single l-5/8" strut is adequate for the shaft wall.
Some available finishes are galvanized, copper paint, or PVC coated.
