I have been put in charge of verifying and updating the general notes for our shop drawings and cant find anything for this newer than 1990. Has this handbook been updated or replaced in the past 25 years? Does the AISI S200 book replace this? does LGSI still exist? or just referenced?

This is the note as written:

{Cold-Formed Steel shall conform to the following;
-Properties and allowable forces shall comply with as listed in the "light gauge structural institute framing systems design handbook" unless otherwise approved by the engineer.}

if there is an updated version or a replacement that you know of please feel free to post.

thanks in advance..

We have one copy of that in our office. Whoever possess it on any given day usually holds onto it tightly, because it is so useful, and it is out of print. I have tried to find another copy and have been unsuccessful.

As a replacement, SSMA has a good document.
