I have an situation at a distribution facility that is requiring a truck/trailer parking lot against a segmental block retaining wall. Lot is approximately 16' feet off the back of wall. Wall is about 30 to 40 feet in height at the highest point. In the back of the lot they want to install 30 to 35 foot high light poles 12' off the lot for site lighting putting the light poles 3-4' off the back of the wall. What is standard practice for light pole on top of segmental block retaining walls? Not sure this is possible but wanted to get others opinions.
Thanks

You may want to talk to the precaster for the segmental wall.

What dik said. I looked through various catalogs, none of them had details for mounting light poles to walls. I know T-Wall by Reco can make blocks with light pole blisters. A 30 to 35' light pole needs -ballpark -5'deep pedestals, at 3 to 4 feet off the wall you could be hitting blocks.
