Can anyone help me with a current typical steel specification for say a light truck (half ton pickup) ladder frame?

Another specification is SAE J2340 Categorization and Properties of Dent Resistant, High Strength, and Ultra
High Strength Automotive Sheet Steel
, with HSLA grades being commonly used.

Here's some typical specs for the frames of HEAVY trucks:
Yield: 110 kpsi min.
UTS: 125 kpsi min.
Elongation: 12% min. in 2"
Hardness: Brinell 254 - 321
