We have a rotating centrifugal fan with extruded hollow fan blades. The fan is exposed to constant salt spray. The blades are sealed at there edges with Proseal polyurethane sealant. Sometime the Proseal fails and the blades fill with debris. The debris causes fan imbalance. We wanted to try filling the blades with a light weight closed cell foam., to prevent the debris from entering the fan blades.

Does anyone have recommendation of a foam to try?
