I've worked out an exercise in regards seated angle / shelf angle and I found out relevant info published and discussed on eng-tips as link

That figure is found in the book "Steel Structures: Design and Behavior" by Charles Salmon and John Johnson. There's a section on Unstiffened Seated Beam Connections in the Connections chapter.
