linked datum plane 2

Hi

What is LINKED DATUM PLANE, and how do you usually create it, I have a file which shows "Linked Datum plane" in the navigator with the link chain symbol, but I dont have a clue how it is created.
Kindly help me.

This linked plane it’s created in assembly in other part and after that it’s linked in your part

Somebody used Wave to link a datum plane from one part to another part.

Check for Wave, wave geometry linker for more information on F1
