THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR READING THIS.

Hello,

In my (model space) drawing I need to have 2 or more identical objects. Easy. The trick is, when I update one of them, I want all of the objects updated. I am looking for an alternative to defining blocks and having to redefine them for every change.

PLEASE HELP,
-John

I don't see any problems with blocks.

I think "_.refedit" is not redefining.

Exxit is right, the refedit is the fastest way to redefine your blocks. Just pick one of them, edit it, and when you close it, the refedit will redefine all instances of the block. Its a fairly nice little block editing routine. Now, if you are talking attributes, that is a different story. Each block has its own set of attributes, and the strings stay with the certain block.
