linking blocks to blocks and excel

ok here is how i think i am looking to do this have a naming convention for blocks so that the tags have "S" before and after the Tag of a block attribute and then in another block whos info "i will want to export to excel eventually" has the same attribute tag or block with in it that is named the same as the other blocks tag with one exception that instead of "S"'s its "R"'s
s for sending info and r for recieving but i am not sure which would be better having a table block with an attribute with a tag of the same name or a block that has the same name as teh tage only either would begin and end with R

tell me what every one thinks maybe tigrek can tell me or even possibly do this in VBA or lisp if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place
