Hi...
I've just recently started using MS Project and i was really amazed by the appealing interface... but i have just discovered that i can't link 2 tasks with 2 or more relations... meaning that i can't for example link tasks no. 2 & 3 with both SS AND FF relations (i'd like to do that with lags included too)... i get a message that i can't do that... is there a way to get around this? I really would like to avoid Primavera...
Thanks in advance...

Another possibility, very similar to the one from Bernard, is to create two milestones make them subtasks of task 3, link one SS with task 2 and the other FF with task 2, change the appearance of task 3 to look like a normal task and hide the two milestones. You can use whatever lags you like.
If you add resources to task 3 be aware that you can only put in actuals in the task usage or resource usage views, because it is a summary bar it will be tricky to deal with with respect to actuals and work done.
