Hi again everyone,
I am having a little annoyance with something and was wondering if any could offer their help. I am trying to link certain dimension values etc. of parts so that they show up in drawings and change if I change the part. I am able to reference dimensions in sketches, just fine, but does anyone know how to link to a measurement like area or perimeter? I can't seem to figure it out.
Any suggestions would be helpful,
Thanks,
Xander

You can't link to an area or perimeter, but you can link to a calculated value. Create an equation such as

"myArea" = D1@Sketch1 * D2@Sketch2

where D1 and D2 are the length and width of a rectangle. You can then link to the value "myArea", which will be calculated upon rebuild.
