Hello:

How can I keep links between projections of sketchers from different parts?. I create a sketcher in a part and I want to use elements from this sketcher in another part sketcher.
And if I modify first sketcher I want the second one to be updated.
I know that it can be done when you have both sketchers in the same part.

Thank you

Hello solid7:

I have done what you tell me but when I modify the first sketcher a red cross appears in the second sketcher and it doesnt update.

Did you delete a feature in the first sketch?

Is it an update that would affect later features, such as specific fillet edges, or something of the sort?

No only lines or curves. You can try, two parts in a product. Draw a sketcher in the first part and copy and paste it in the second part. If you modify the first sketcher the second one does not update. And a red cross appears in de sketchs symbol.Perhaps is my configuration but I dont know why it happens.

Yes you are right solid7. Thank you very much

If my memories are good the red cross at the bottom of an icon means that the feature is not synchronized (updated from external reference).

Check the tools options to activate automatic update in assembly and also synchro at update.

should work.
