Hi,

I have a 2D file with four sheets.
Each sheet has about 4-5 views.
All of them are locked.
They should be linked to an updated 3D file.
Do I need to link each view at a time with the 3D file?
Is there any way to do the link all views at a time?

Thanks

Hi

First, in order to update any view, you need to unlock and after, update. But only if we talk about same 3D file which was used to create 2D views initially.

If links are correct done, the views will update. Many times, this operations are done with a macro just because is more faster.

If we talk about another 3D file, with a different UUUID than initial one, can be done only after deleting initial links of the views and relink to the new 3D.

For both cases I believe you can search the forum for more details. Anyway, first unlock views then all other operations.

Fernando
