We have been using TT-L-190 (Linseed Oil, Boiled (For use in organic coatings)) to fill and drain rivet holes before replugging the rivet holes in the end fittings.
However, TT-L-190 has been cancelled and the current superseding specification had been withdrawn without a replacement. I am having trouble finding a linseed oil equivalent to TT-L-190. So, I started looking into general corrosion inhibiting/preventative compounds to see if there is any CICs or CPCs which would provide similar purposes to the linseed oil.
Anyone has any suggestions for linseed oil for this application (fill and drain rivet holes)? Any corrosion inhibiting/preventative compounds which may compare to TT-L-190?
Thank you. Any suggestion would help.

Boiled linseed oil meeting TT-L-190 spec should still be available. Try your paint stores and any one who furnishes wood finishing supplies.

I bought my last gallon from a marine supply co.
