Hi Guys,
I've been asked to source some lint free cloths for oxygen cleaning valve parts.
My usual tool supplier has come back and told me that there isn't anything that is totally lint free.

Anybody any advice or can recommend a product to do the job?

Thanks

Look for semiconductor cleaning wipes. Those guys are freaks about lint and dust.

cotton - lint free? I doubt it

Your supplier is technically correct, no product can be certified 100% lint free. But products can be certified to have free particulate matter within certain size ranges to be less than some amount prior to their first use. And yes, cotton wipes (even lint-free wipes) are notorious for generating new lint as you use them, other materials may be less absorbent but generate less particulate during use. Google clean room wipes, or search on the usual list of supplier warehouse sites (McMaster, Cole Parmer).

This site may teach you a bit about "lint free" also
