ListofValuesString In BMIDE

I am trying to modify an interdependent LOV in teamcenter BMIDE. In the details of the Top level LOV, the "type" is listed as ListofValuesString. I was attempting to change that to something like "String" but the field is locked. I have all accesses to this and should be able to make the change myself but as my picture shows, the field is unselectable.
