Load steps in ansys

Dear All,

I am working with Ansys. In contact analysis for initial converegence we need to force the contact to come into contact. For this i have been advised to apply the initial loading gradually as a loadstep of small magnitude and once the contacts come into "contact" then ramp the loads. As the model consists of so many loads how to do this ?. Can any one tell me about how to give the multiple loadstpes in Ansys ?

Possibly "lswrite" command would help you out. just look at the help for lswrite.

write multiple loadsteps using lswrite
use lssolve to solve all loadsteps
