Hi all,
Has anyone in their experience had issues with terminations burning out in which you had multiple conductors paralleled per phase, not in trefoil eg. 3 no conductors bunched together for L1 and separated from same configuration for L2 and L3.
Cables (L1,L2,L3) would be coming from a generator system.
Although the concept of unbalance is straight forward, I am having difficulty in understanding exactly how the issue would manifest itself leading to a fire when the phases would be "assumed" to be relatively balanced.
Anyone have a good explanation?
Thanks,
RD
