Loads, desing and analysis of wire rope drums

HI All,

I would like to do a kind of research, do you know any interesting books, literature or standards descirbing how to calculate the pressure on the wire rope drum that is a direct result of wire spooling? Do you know whether there exist a formula that will include the friction coefficient for different materials for the drum and wire?
As far as I know DNV Standard for Certification 2.22 has some approach for this but do you know other publictions ?
