We are looking for Tubular Cable Lug (35mm3 conductor size, bolt size M10). This seems to be an impossible size to find in the US. One of the suppliers offered a quote for a minimum qty of 5000. All we need is 100-200 max. Any ideas how can I get this kind if lug in small quantity and in a reasonable time? Regards.

you can always get a US size that fits withing the MFG range speced for the lug. Can't be that hard to find something to work.

JTK.
In this prticular application of ours, we need to have a bolt hole size as close as possible to the bolt shaft. So although we can get away with non-metric, we prefer to stick to the M10 size. Thanks,

IT's the 21st century, the internet goes to Europe and UPS and FedEx get stuff here in a couple of days at best.

We use Cembre (pronounced Shambray)in the UK. Their details are I think these are what you want

We buy 10-50 off quantities. Also, if you are using a non standard lug make sure your crimping tool die is the right size and applies the correct pressure - they sell dies and tools too.

If you are struggling, we can act as a middle man, we do this sort of thing all the time! However, it would be must cheaper to use Cembre as they seem to have an office in the states.

failing that try RS Componnents, they do everything!

I would also use an andersen press since you don't have to have a die to make an andersen work. They are universal as long as the lug MFG approves. The burndy presses require specific dies. Andersens do not.
