locked job file

dear all
i am working on abaqus6.13-4 for the analysis of composite tensile test coupon and while, submitting the job the error occurs and it says
"Detected lock file Job-1.lck. Please confirm that no other applications are attempting to write to the output database associated with this job before removing the lock file and resubmitting." what do i do any positiv responses thank you all

The .lck file is created when you submit a job. If the job somehow crashes and the .lck file remains then you can't run the job under the same name. Similarly if the job is still running you can't resubmit it. If it's crashed then delete the .lck file and resubmit it. It's preferable to create a new job file name whenever you submit a job rather than leave it as the default job-1 name. It helps for remembering what the job refers to.
