Hello,

Does someone out there happen to have a copy of Lockeed Stress Memo No. 1e dated September 8th/1972, revised Dec. 1st/1972?

I have:
SM-1d from the 1966 issue
SM-1f in my 1992 issue

Why? And do you know what the differences between versions are?

I would like an electronic copy if that is okay... sbruceatvihdotcom I'm not sure of the difference between the different issues, but 1e is referenced in an engineering report I am reviewing and I can't find the memo anywhere.

The lockheed stress memo's are propriety data so i cant give it to you as a package unfortunatly. However, all the work that went into Stress Memo 1 was carried out by Hoblit and Melcon (and maybe Cozzonne). If i'm correct they did over 400 test pieces which brought about the data to base the maths on. It was published in "product engineering" in the early 50's.

Mike Niu's book gives the guidance on what to do, and this is the same as the stress memo
