I am facing problem with locknut and bolt tightening . Describing it as I have one model which has breadth is 4 feet and width is 30 cm. problem is this while tightening the bolt and nut I have to keep hands downward to locknut and tight upper side with screwdriver that is creating problem in my back so what would be the solution on that ?

Hi yrrh

Can you provide a sketch or a picture please? I am sorry but I cannot understand your description.

Sounds to me like a design issue. Components should be readily movable/reachable - including fasteners and hardware - and the worker should use the proper tools for the job.

If I understand the description correctly, perhaps one solution is to use a socket spanner, which allows the bolt to be turned from the side, rather than from above. This can help relieve the back strain experienced when tightening the locknut and bolt.
Another option is to use a vise or clamp to hold the model while you work on it.

I am familiar with such problems.
I find that a couple of Tylenol usually help.
The pain will get worse with age.
Get used to it.
