Lofting with rails

I can get this drawing to loft in in the YZ plane with the rails. It will loft without the rail in the XY plane, but will not loft with the rails in the XY plane.

Have you had any training - most of your sketches are not constrained. Loft with all 4 rails works fine for me (once I add a few constraints.

I added the constraints as suggested and it now lofts!
I'm not an engineer and have only taken two classes.
Thanks also for the .pdf with instructions.
