I am looking for a company that can supply me with high quality bulbs and ballasts. I have 4ft T12 flourescent bulbs in our QA room that I purchased from Superior Lamp in 2000 - they produce a better light with less bulbs and have last about 4 years and counting. Their sells approach is as annoying as telemarketing and after 4 phone calls, I still don't have the prices I need.

Can anyone give me info on similar products - I want to find lighting that is better light, more effecient and less maintenance. 2 X 4 fixtures are needed for the offices I am adding on now.

Thanks

Draymorris,
The last project I got into containing this issue ended with a call to our electric utility company. They had a tech service group that had the answers to my questions before I asked. Might be worth a call.

We have always relamped our building at 3 years, 280 bulbs
[ in theroy]

I was told they lose about 50 % of there light by then .
Good luck in your search

draymorris - I tend to use Williams fixtures and in 2x4 layins I use a 32 cell parabolic 3 or 4 T8 lamps/electronic ballasts. I like the F32T8TL/835/ALTO by Philips. You can get these from abount any Electrical Wholesale Distributor. Jimi
