Hello Engineers,
I am a junior Structural Design Engineer.
Please help me for a finding a solution on a Long term deflection problem (BS 8110). It comes beyond the limiting deflection.
As you can see in the SAFE file, the deflection between the span D3 and D5 shows more than 30mm at the end of the slab that our limiting deflection is (6500/250)=26mm. I have no option to give a beam between the column due to architectural restrictions. the slab thickness is now 23cm and i also tried with 24 and 25cm thick slab. Here i provided 12@150cm mesh at bottom and top in both direction for whole area of slab. Additionally i provided 16@150mm at bottom and 12@150mm at top, at the deflected location. But still i could not controlled the deflection as 26mm...

Please help me to find a solution.
I think this is a simple problem to the experts.. But i am a junior.. Please give a helping hand..

Thanks in advance...
