I have a 10" drain hub with a 4" sitting approx 2" inside the drain hub. I need to contain the material going into the drain so I was hoping to find a simple pipe coupling to place over the OD of the pipe and drain hub. I found this site but they do not have the size. The product is 250 degree steam. Thanks!

I contacted that website and they said they have a 10" to 4" coupling but the max temp is ambient

I can't help you with the coupling but I have an idea.

You could use weld a 10" slip-on flange to the drain hub and weld a drilled 10" blind flange to the 4" pipe and bolt it up.

Well,If we are welding, why not just weld a long 10" spool pc. to the drain hub? The drain was original an open drain, so not sure Mr. NozzleTwister's idea of making it a closed drain would work or not? My $0.02!! ...Mark

Thanks for the ideas guys but the hub is cast iron and there is no room for a flange. I'm just going to cap the hub and drill a hole for the drain pipe, then seal the hole with some packing and silicone sealant.

My idea of making it a closed drain (at least at this location) was because liquidsords said he needed to contain the material (250 degree steam).

I think it would be pretty tough to contain the steam otherwise.
